General description of the collection: The Berlin Brigade photograph collection contains the photographs that were received directly from the Berlin Brigade. The earliest set is of the visit of President John F. Kennedy to Berlin in 1963. The next photos are from 1977 and are of miscellaneous subjects. There is a set of portraits of Berlin Brigade commanding generals and a few other miscellaneous subjects. Most of the collection, however, is coverage of the "Reforger" exercises for 1978, 1980, 1981, 1982, 1983, 1984, 1985, 1986, and 1987. The most recent photos are from 1994.

John Fitzgerald Kennedy was born on May 29, 1917, to Joseph P. Kennedy and Rose Fitzgerald Kennedy of Brookline, Massachusetts. John Kennedy, the second of nine children, attended Choate Academy (1932-1935), Princeton University (1935-36), Harvard College (1936-40), and Stanford Business School (1941).
